Tanesha Thompson is the owner and team lead for Synergy Realty Group℠, currently operating under Southern Homes of the Carolinas. Her professional career is built on her passion for the real estate industry. Tanesha began her career in 2000, as a Cost Segregation Specialist with Michael S. Hawes & Associates in Granite Bay, California. During her four years with MSH&A, she was a liaison for high profile commercial investors and engineering firms, who performed cost segregation services and 1031 Exchanges. Tanesha conducted cost segregation seminars and became a guest speaker at top commercial real estate brokerage firms, such as TRI Commercial and Marcus & Millichap.

Tanesha later became a licensed Realtor®, serving the residential market in her hometown of Sacramento before relocating to North Carolina and joining Allen Tate’s BSI Division. Her experience would continue to increase during the six years she lived in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. During this stent of time, she had the pleasure of working with nine of the top producing agents at The Retail Connection a prominent commercial brokerage firm with clients including Dollar Tree, Bed Bath & Beyond, Advanced Auto, PetSmart, LA Fitness, DSW, Charming Charlie, Panera Bread and Amazon.


In 2014, she made a final move back to North Carolina and began Synergy Realty Group℠, with the intention of taking all of her nearly 20 years of experience and giving the community she serves a more collaborative, supportive, experience in real estate. She founded the Synergy Realty Group℠ First-time Homebuyer Program and is currently working on similar initiatives to help small business dreamers and owners achieve their goals.


Tanesha graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business and is an active member of the Delta Mu Delta business honor society.
